Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

About the Role:

The Nurse Practitioner will be an experienced nurse who will provide high-quality patient care in a general practice setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a first point of contact for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems, using advanced autonomous clinical skills and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base.
  • Deliver a high standard of patient care, prioritizing health problems and intervening appropriately, including initiation of effective emergency care.
  • Prescribe safe, effective, and appropriate medication as defined by current legislative framework.
  • Work within the practice guidelines, policies, and protocols, maintaining accurate and contemporaneous records.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary education and clinical supervision, promoting personal development and clinical excellence.
  • Contribute to practice strategy and developments, working according to Clinical Governance standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • Nurse Practitioner Qualification
  • Experience in use of IT Emis system
