Job Summary:
Insight Care Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead the successful opening and operation of a new 4-bed children's home in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for the children and young people residing in the home.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to children and young people.
- Care Provision: Ensure the provision of a safe, secure, and homely environment for children and young people, meeting their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Staff Management: Manage and develop a team of staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and support to deliver high-quality care and support services.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the home meets the required standards of quality, including Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to meet the needs of children and young people.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the home maintains a safe and healthy environment for children, young people, and staff, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
- Financial Management: Manage the home's budget, ensuring effective financial management and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to ensure the home continues to meet the needs of children and young people.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A minimum RQF Level 4 (QCF level 3) or above in Children's Care Services, Level 5 in leadership and management, and current car driving license.
- Experience: At least 2 years' significant management experience in a care setting, with a minimum of 4 years' experience working effectively with children with learning difficulties/challenging behavior.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Children's Home Regulations 2015, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, manage budgets, and ensure the highest standards of care and support services.

- Competitive Salary: Up to £90,000 per year.
