Children's Home Registered Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Children's Home Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of a 4-bed Children's Residential home in Acocks Green, Birmingham.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the home provides therapeutic care and support to children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties. You will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring the home is safe and efficient, and meeting Ofsted regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Ensure the home is safe and efficient, and meets Ofsted regulations
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of children and young people
  • Manage staffing and recruitment to ensure the home is fully staffed
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure the home is aligned with the company's values and vision
Requirements
  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services) desirable
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services essential
  • Experience working in a Deputy or Registered Manager's position essential
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment essential
