Dual Registered Children's Home Manager Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people within an established and expanding organization.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified candidate to join our team as a Dual Registered Manager, overseeing two of our established children's residential homes. These homes, located in Bilston and Sedgley, collectively provide care and support for up to five young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the well-being of young people, meeting their individual needs.
  • Guarantee both homes operate in compliance with OFSTED regulations, care standards, company policies, and legislative requirements.
  • Offer training, supervision, and support to staff, fostering a respectful and empowering work environment.
  • Provide strong leadership to ensure the homes are efficiently managed and well-staffed to deliver exceptional care.
  • Assist in the hiring, selection, and onboarding of new staff, ensuring all checks and training are completed.
Requirements
  • A proven track record working with Ofsted.
  • Experience working with children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Experience in commissioning.
  • A relevant management qualification, ideally Level 5 in Leadership & Management.
  • A strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and related legislation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
