About the Role:

The Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our children and young people. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the needs of our residents and the ability to manage a team of professional staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the team, ensuring that the home operates in accordance with the Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Onboarding and Training: Develop and implement effective onboarding and training programs to ensure that new staff are equipped to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that all aspects of care and support are delivered to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year's experience of supervising and managing professional staff, with a minimum of 2 years' experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last 5 years.
  • Qualifications: Must hold or be working toward a recognised professional qualification relevant to working with children and young people, such as the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care.
