Customer Advisor / Course Advisor

The City & Guilds Group is excited to announce permanent openings for committed individuals in Customer Service and Sales to join our team as Course Advisors.

These roles present a wonderful opportunity to become part of our established and expanding organization. Successful candidates will join our welcoming team in a collaborative office environment.

As a Course Advisor, you will deliver exceptional customer-focused interactions, guiding clients on our educational offerings and assisting them in selecting the courses that best meet their needs.

This position offers a competitive starting salary of £25K, along with a generous bonus structure that can enhance your earnings by an additional 20-35%.

The Course Advisor role involves both inbound and outbound communication, ensuring that all interactions are with existing clients or those who have previously expressed interest in our services.

We are eager to connect with candidates who possess a passion for outstanding customer service and are driven by results. Ideal applicants will have experience in a similar telephone-based role and a desire to further develop their sales and customer service expertise within the City & Guilds framework. This position can serve as a stepping stone towards more senior sales or account management roles.

About the Role

Trade Skills 4U, a division of City & Guilds Training, specializes in electrical training, offering a comprehensive range of courses for aspiring electricians, seasoned professionals, and corporate clients. Our state-of-the-art training centers have successfully assisted thousands in acquiring the knowledge and qualifications necessary for thriving careers in the electrical sector.

We are looking to expand our team of Course Advisors who can demonstrate a successful track record in a phone-based sales or customer service environment to support our ongoing operations.

The successful candidate will represent and promote Trade Skills 4U, raising awareness of our courses and generating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing customer needs and providing accurate guidance
  • Cultivating positive relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Advocating for the company’s brand and offerings via phone
  • Maintaining precise records of all inquiries, sales, and transactions using our CRM system
  • Performing general administrative tasks related to the role, including communication via phone, email, and live chat
  • Collaborating proactively with team members to ensure timely completion of inquiries and daily responsibilities

It is essential to effectively communicate the benefits of our offerings while ensuring customers achieve their desired outcomes.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo appropriate background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
