International Portfolio Strategy Specialist

This position emphasizes our global approach to optimize growth potential across various sectors within our portfolio. You will conduct in-depth analyses of our product offerings to identify challenges, opportunities for expansion, and insights into competitor activities.

A profound comprehension and experience within the educational landscape, including the education sector and assessments, is essential for this role.

This is a full-time position, requiring 35 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday. We provide flexible working arrangements, allowing you to work from various locations, with a preference for proximity to our main office hubs. Attendance at meetings will be necessary as required.

Role Overview

As an International Portfolio Strategy Specialist, you will develop strategies for our global portfolio, ensuring they are forward-thinking, evidence-based, and provide a clear roadmap for sustainable growth. You will be responsible for the strategic direction, crafting an ambitious plan for our international operations.

Collaborating closely with the Product Directorate, you will align our annual strategy with the evolving educational landscape and create detailed roadmaps for the short, medium, and long term.

Your role will involve identifying strategic opportunities for bids, partnerships, or contracts across various markets, supporting the business in understanding and executing our strategy. Working alongside Product Management, you will drive measurable business outcomes that align with both organizational objectives and market demands, while ensuring transparency regarding the competitive landscape.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the International Portfolio Strategy Specialist position will possess a deep understanding of educational landscapes and the ability to leverage this knowledge to formulate a strategic vision. A solid grasp of the education sector and assessments is crucial.

You will utilize market and customer insights to inform actions that enhance product performance, always maintaining a customer-centric approach that considers the impact of decisions on customer and learner experiences. A strategic and commercial mindset focused on expanding market share and improving customer satisfaction is essential.

Excellent influencing, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills are required for success in this role.
