Overview

The primary objective of this position is to procure all necessary goods and services for various projects, adhering to the specifications outlined in the Bill of Material (BOM), while following established Business Processes and Procedures to secure the most favorable Commercial Terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and acquire items as required to ensure the timely availability of all essential goods and services for project execution. Negotiate contracts for the supply of products and services that align with project needs at the best possible costs.
  • Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance to confirm compliance with contractual obligations and ensure they are capable of fulfilling the company's requirements.
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders to fully comprehend their needs and ensure that supply aligns with the details specified in the Bill of Material (BOM).
  • Possess a solid understanding of the Quality Grading criteria for each specific client, as this influences the necessary documentation.
  • From a business perspective, aid internal clients in establishing effective supplier relationships.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for your Project Purchase Orders from the placement of the Purchase Order to the final Quality Clearance, including proactive follow-up to minimize production delays while maintaining communication with stakeholders.
  • Work alongside Supply Chain and Procurement Managers to negotiate annual contracts for designated goods and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Explore new and alternative supply sources to reduce reliance on a limited number of suppliers and maintain competitive market positioning.
  • Challenge existing costs and support the organization in reaching its savings objectives.
