Overview
The primary objective of this position is to procure all necessary goods and services for various projects, adhering to specifications outlined in a Bill of Material (BOM), while following established Business Processes and Procedures to secure the most favorable Commercial Terms.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and source items as required to guarantee the availability of all essential goods/services for timely project delivery. Negotiate contracts for the provision of goods and services that align with project needs at optimal costs.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and verify their capability to fulfill the company's requirements.
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders to fully comprehend their needs and ensure that supplies align with the detailed Bill of Material (BOM).
- Possess a solid understanding of the Quality Grading criteria for each specific client, as this influences the necessary documentation.
- From a business standpoint, aid internal clients in establishing effective supplier partnerships.
- Assume responsibility for Project Purchase Orders from placement to final Quality Clearance, including proactive follow-up to minimize production delays and maintain communication with stakeholders.
- Work alongside Supply Chain and Procurement Managers to negotiate annual contracts for specified goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Explore new and alternative supply sources to reduce reliance on a limited number of suppliers and sustain market competitiveness.
- Challenge pricing and support the organization in meeting its savings objectives.

We offer a range of services including Fabrication, Machining, Fitting, Assembly, and Testing, supported by a workshop with a floor capacity of 19,200m2, two 5-meter deep manufacturing pits, and a lifting capacity of 130 tonnes.
