Contract Type:
Full-time – Academic Year Only
Hours: 35 hours per week - Academic Year Only, plus 10 training days

Compensation Structure:
The salary is calculated based on the following:
  • Weekly hours x Number of Teaching Weeks – 36 Weeks
  • Pro rata annual leave and bank holidays
  • 24 additional training hours
  • 10 training days per year
The total hours will be divided into 12 equal monthly salary payments.

Role Overview:
As an Employment Support Specialist, you will be stationed at a local educational institution. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.

This role is dynamic, with each day presenting new challenges, as you will engage with a diverse range of employment and educational settings.

This rewarding opportunity within our Supported Internships program offers a varied and fulfilling role as part of an award-winning team, providing job satisfaction that is hard to find elsewhere.

Your responsibilities will include assisting individuals in developing skills, obtaining qualifications, and matching them with suitable job opportunities, while collaborating with learners and employers to foster independence and help them achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:
Engaging in one-on-one sessions with learners, facilitating group activities, providing travel training, conducting observations, and collaborating closely with employers and training organizations.

Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals with transferable skills such as strong organizational abilities, self-motivation, and a commitment to supporting others in their success.

A passion for promoting employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and those facing disadvantages is essential.

A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes are required, along with the completion of an Enhanced DBS check (cost covered by Right2work, terms and conditions apply).
