Position Title: Lead Treasury Operations Specialist

Location: Aberdeen, collaborating with our global NOV Treasury team.

About the Position: Become a vital member of our European Treasury team as a Lead Treasury Operations Specialist. In this influential role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing our treasury functions. This position provides a remarkable opportunity to work alongside the Director of Treasury for Europe & CIS while mentoring our Treasury Analysts. You will engage in diverse treasury activities, delivering critical insights and support to our operational units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and optimize cash and liquidity management at both local and regional levels.
  • Manage payment workflows and related systems efficiently.
  • Act as the primary Treasury liaison, providing expert advice to business units.
  • Handle trade finance needs, including the issuance of bank guarantees and other financial instruments.
  • Oversee regional corporate credit card initiatives.
  • Support foreign exchange risk management strategies.
  • Assist in developing cash flow projections and conducting variance analyses.
  • Contribute to strategic treasury initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and system improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Treasury role, with relevant certifications or a background in finance.
  • Strong collaborative and independent working abilities.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-stakes environment, preferably within a large international organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel with a high level of numerical accuracy.
  • Familiarity with online banking systems and treasury control frameworks.
