Senior Transaction Development Specialist for Oil and Gas

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a highly experienced transaction specialist to lead the transaction development/procurement process through to financial close for Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) Build Own Operate (BOO) and other relevant outsourcing models across all sectors including power, water, midstream assets, pipelines, real estate, and services projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Transaction Development: The Specialist must demonstrate the ability to work with and lead multidisciplinary teams in complex third-party transactions either as a client or as a bidder.
  • Review Corporate Finance Matters: Lead the review of affiliates corporate finance matters including liquidity, working capital, dividends, and capital structure.
  • Evaluate and Recommend Optimization Opportunities: Evaluate and recommend ways to optimize intragroup lending, demonstrating an understanding of structuring and tax optimization opportunities.
  • Join the Affiliates & Structuring Advisory Division: Join the Affiliates & Structuring Advisory Division within the Group Treasury Management Department of MatchaTalent.
  • Lead and Advise on Treasury Matters: Lead and advise on Treasury matters related to MatchaTalent's Affiliates, including Wholly-Owned Joint Ventures and Public Entities.
  • Valuation and Financial Modeling: Possess experience in valuation and financial modeling.
  • Debt Financing and Financial Instruments: Knowledgeable in debt financing and other financial instruments.
  • Intragroup Lending and Tax Organization: Understand intragroup lending and tax organization.
  • Team Skills and Cross-Functional Experience: Possess applicable team skills and cross-functional experience.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Exposed to Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent negotiation skills and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including mentoring new hires and presenting to the MatchaTalent Management Committee.
Requirements
  • Willingness to Relocate: Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or its equivalent is required. Advanced professional competence evidenced by professional licenses and other forms of continuing professional education. 12 years relevant experience in business development.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in oral and written English. Some command of Arabic is beneficial but not mandatory.
