About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of expertise in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's M&A efforts, identifying potential targets, and executing transactions that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential targets, including financial analysis, commercial evaluation, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive M&A strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry experts.
  • Manage the entire M&A process, from initial screening to deal closure, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor activity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in M&A, with a strong track record of success in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, commercial evaluation, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive M&A strategy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
