Please note this role is fully office-based.

Team Overview:

This position is situated in Northampton and will report directly to the Customer Service Supervisor, while also providing support to the Key Account Managers within the sales organization.

Our client is a prominent global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail.

Role Impact:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive team contributor, addressing the fast-paced demands of Aftermarket inquiries. This role involves collaborating with a team focused on enhancing sales growth for both existing and prospective clients.


Candidate Profile:

Essential qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Oracle, including both viewing and processing capabilities.
  • Understanding of Oracle / Design bill of material structuring.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for fostering relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A self-motivated team player with a positive and proactive attitude.

Typical Responsibilities:

Your weekly tasks will encompass:

  • Generating Sales / Aftermarket reports for the sales leadership.
  • Managing customer accounts within Oracle.
  • Addressing customer inquiries.
  • Preparing quotations, inputting orders, and tracking them through to dispatch.
  • Following up with customers to check on inquiry statuses.
  • Creating Aftermarket spares listings for both existing and new clients.
  • Collaborating with the customer service and account management teams to devise strategies aimed at boosting aftermarket sales revenue.
  • Assisting with other sales administration duties during holiday periods, which may include occasional bank holiday hours.
