Team Overview:

This position is based in Northampton and will report directly to the Customer Service Supervisor, while also providing support to the Key Account Managers within the sales organization.

Our client is a prominent global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player, adept at managing the demands of fast-paced Aftermarket inquiries. This role involves contributing to the sales growth for both existing and new customers.


Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Essential knowledge of Oracle, including both viewing and processing capabilities.
  • Experience with Oracle / Design bill of material structuring.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A self-motivated attitude and a positive, collaborative spirit.

Daily Tasks:

Your typical day will involve:

  • Generating Sales / Aftermarket reports for the sales leadership team.
  • Managing customer accounts within Oracle.
  • Responding to customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Creating quotations, processing orders, and ensuring orders are followed through to dispatch.
  • Conducting follow-ups with customers to check on order status.
  • Developing Aftermarket spares listings for both existing and new customers.
  • Collaborating with the customer service and account management teams to devise strategies aimed at increasing aftermarket sales revenue.
  • Providing support for other sales administration tasks during holiday periods, which may include occasional bank holiday hours.
