JOB OVERVIEW

Wood is seeking a Project Administrator (contract) to provide essential support for our clients' gas initiatives. This role is based in our Reading office and involves full-time administrative assistance to ensure smooth project operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitates daily project activities and supports the project team
  • Streamlines workflow and initiates necessary follow-up actions
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of project timelines, scheduling needs, and departmental procedures
  • Establishes and manages both physical and digital project file systems
  • Grants and oversees access to shared project resources and online platforms
  • Ensures operational efficiency of office and business support services
  • Performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, including typing, transcription, and record-keeping
  • Ensures all reports and documentation adhere to company and project quality standards
  • Manages specific project forms and procedural guidelines
  • Coordinates meetings and prepares necessary materials
  • Assists field teams with daily time sheet completion
  • Supports onboarding and orientation processes for new personnel
  • Assists with both internal and external project evaluations
  • Arranges travel, lodging, and vehicle rentals as needed
  • Drafts correspondence and memoranda for managerial review
  • Collects data and materials for billing purposes
  • Handles scanning, emailing, phone inquiries, and copying tasks
REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience in project administration within the Engineering and Construction sector is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with Oracle systems is advantageous
  • Ability to communicate and interact professionally with colleagues
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Self-driven and eager to learn
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team environment
