£31.86 hourly PAYE/£41.09 Umbrella

Working Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (Hybrid with a minimum of 3 days on-site)

Contract Type: Temporary for 3 months with potential for extension

We are actively seeking a Fire Safety Compliance Officer for a temporary role based in Whitechapel, London.

In the capacity of Fire Safety Compliance Officer, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing that our client complies with all Fire and Building Safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting inspections and supervising remedial actions to mitigate fire risks across all housing properties
  • Assisting in the development of specialized fire engineering reports and Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs)
  • Overseeing projects and technical operations within the housing sector
  • Engaging with stakeholders and providing assurance
  • Addressing challenges and ensuring adherence to fire safety regulations and standards
To excel in this position, candidates must possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety and technical proficiency in building surveying
  • Availability to be on-site for a minimum of 3 days per week
  • A relevant technical qualification in the field
  • Comprehensive understanding of fire safety standards within the housing sector
  • Current knowledge of legislation and industry standards
  • Extensive technical knowledge of building construction across various asset types
