Position Overview:
As a key member of our technical team, you will oversee all elements of fire safety within the housing assets managed by the Council. Your role is crucial in ensuring that services are not only maintained but also enhanced, with a strong focus on resident safety. You will be responsible for the operational management of fire safety, ensuring adherence to both mandatory and advisory fire safety regulations and building codes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Fire Safety Manager and Senior Fire Safety Officer to drive service enhancements and fire safety initiatives.
- Assist in the formulation, execution, and evaluation of fire safety policies, procedures, strategies, and annual action plans.
- Keep abreast of changes in fire safety legislation and guidance, aiding the Fire Safety Manager and Senior Fire Safety Officer in coordinating responses across all levels.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in drafting reports tailored to various audiences.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the fire safety sector, property management, or a related field.
- Experience in managing or providing guidance on fire safety within a medium to large organization.
Additional Information:
- Weekly commitment of 36 hours.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and compliance of our housing assets, contributing to the overall mission of CRA GROUP LIMITED.
