Fire Safety Consultant Opportunity
Marlowe Fire & Security, a leading provider of fire life safety and security solutions, is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Consultant to join their team in the West Midlands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a full fire risk assessment and consultancy service to national and local clients across the UK. This will involve conducting thorough risk assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legislation, and providing expert advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments of nominated buildings
- Ensure risk assessments are submitted within contractual service level agreements
- Maintain and update a log of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and changes to legislation
- Attend appointments to fulfill consultancy activities
- Collate relevant information and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide reports as required
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- Achieve agreed targets and complete allocated risk assessments per calendar month
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fire safety, with relevant qualifications such as IFE, IFSM, or IFPO accreditation. They will also have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
Marlowe Fire & Security offers a competitive remuneration package, including a basic salary of circa £38-45,000, company car or allowance, mobile phone, laptop, and a range of benefits such as Royal London pension, life assurance, paid holidays, and a mental health and well-being scheme.
