Fire Door Inspector Role at Griffin Fire

Griffin Fire is a respected leader in fire protection and commercial security solutions. We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Inspector to join our dedicated team, ensuring the safety and security of various prestigious buildings and landmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough fire door inspections to ensure compliance with current regulations and safety standards.
  2. Assess the effectiveness and functionality of fire doors, identifying defects or necessary repairs.
  3. Document findings and maintain accurate records of inspections and recommendations.
  4. Provide clients with clear reports detailing fire door conditions and necessary actions for compliance.
  5. Collaborate with the engineering team for timely repairs and upgrades.
  6. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices for fire door safety.
  7. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Proven experience as a Fire Door Inspector or in a similar role within fire safety.
  2. Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and inspection processes.
  3. Attention to detail and observational skills to identify potential issues.
  4. Critical communication skills to convey findings and recommendations.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  6. Commitment to maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
  7. Manual UK Driver's Licence is preferred.
