Role Summary:

As a Fire Safety Enforcement Specialist with Kent Fire and Rescue Service, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. This involves assisting the Enforcement Manager and Fire Risk Inspection Managers with formal action, including prosecutions, and providing direction when requested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and mentoring of Fire Risk Inspectors
  • Investigate breaches in fire safety compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, as amended
  • Consult with other enforcing authorities on fire safety compliance within premises

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills to deliver a polite, courteous, and efficient service
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience with creating and editing Excel documents using data from various sources
