Fire Safety Consultant

We are seeking a qualified fire safety consultant to join our team in a full-time capacity. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering inspections and consultancy on various fire safety issues, primarily within the social housing and education sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Producing technical reports, including fire risk assessments, and providing remedial action recommendations.
- Providing fire safety advice to clients, both written and oral.
- Carrying out site audits and desktop quality assurance of internal reports, FRA's, and other fire safety reports.
- Oversight of fire safety projects undertaken by contractors, from quotation to delivery and certification.
- Surveying fire doors and fire stopping.
- Liaising with inspectors, sub-contractors, housing officers, and fire safety managers.
- NEBOSH General and Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Good records of CPD and willingness to self-enhance knowledge of fire safety.
- Knowledge of UK legislation and guidance, including housing fire safety guidance.
- Experience in residential fire risk.
- Suitable fire door inspector qualification.
- Reasonable knowledge of construction, upgrades, and refurbishment.
- Good links for work in the London area, with willingness to travel further when required.
- Clean driving licence.
- Salary of between £40K - £50K DOE.
- Full training package to support growth.
