Role Overview:

As a Fire Safety Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in Pobl Group's dedication to health and safety.

You will collaborate with various teams to identify and resolve safety concerns, ensuring adherence to regulations and fostering a secure living environment for our residents.

Your responsibilities will include regular safety inspections, testing of fire safety systems, and coordinating with other teams to guarantee efficient service delivery.

This position will primarily cover properties in the East region, with occasional support required in the West. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.



Required Skills and Experience:

Experience:
Ideally, you should have a background in fire safety, property management, or a related field. Experience in a customer-centric or social housing environment is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:
Strong organizational abilities, capacity to work independently or collaboratively, and excellent communication skills are essential. You should be capable of performing basic maintenance tasks and possess a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.

Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in non-technical fire and smoke alarm testing, basic electrical work, and fire door evaluations.

Qualifications:
A valid driving license is a must. A commitment to ongoing training in health and safety and fire safety protocols is also required.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £28,449 for a 37-hour work week.
The primary office location for this role is Newport.
Successful candidates will undergo a basic DBS check, which will be covered by the company.
Enjoy 26 days of holiday entitlement plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with tenure.
