Job Description

**Ventro - Fire Compliance** is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Fire Surveyor. As a key member of our Surveying team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the fire safety compliance of our clients' properties.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough surveys of existing buildings to identify potential fire hazards and defects.
  • Assess and record defects, providing clear and concise remedial notes for our sales team.
  • Carry out health check inspections, asset labelling, and write up reports as required.
  • Survey installations and provide technical support to our clients.
  • Work closely with our Healthcheck Manager, Operations Support Team, and communicate effectively with our office.
  • Report to our Healthcheck Manager on a daily basis.

**Requirements:**

  • Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Technical knowledge and competence in fire safety and building surveying.
  • Logical and practical mind with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Driving licence.
