Role Overview:
As a Fire Safety Inspector, you will be a crucial member of Pobl Group's dedication to health and safety.
Your responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections, testing fire safety systems, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and foster a secure living environment for residents.
This position will primarily focus on properties in the East region, including Gwent and nearby areas, with occasional support required for properties in the West. A work vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
Required Skills and Experience:
Background:
Ideally, you should have experience in fire safety, property maintenance, or a related field. Experience in a social housing or customer-oriented setting is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong organizational abilities, capacity to work independently or collaboratively, and excellent communication skills are essential. You should be capable of performing basic building maintenance and possess a solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in non-technical fire and smoke alarm testing, basic electrical tasks, and fire door assessments.
Qualifications:
A valid driving license is mandatory. A commitment to ongoing training in health and safety and fire safety protocols is also required.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £28,449 for a 37-hour workweek.
