Job Overview

We are excited to present multiple Senior Buyer positions with a renowned global retail brand. Our client is a well-established brand with a presence in numerous international markets, currently experiencing significant growth.

They are seeking to expand their team by adding three Senior Buyers to manage various indirect procurement categories.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to contribute wherever necessary, embodying a true team spirit.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure that all General Non-Food Retail (GNFR) contracts across the organization are cost-efficient, appropriately structured, adaptable to future needs, straightforward, and enforceable with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Experience in procuring IT, Marketing, Travel, Facilities Management, or Logistics would be advantageous.

Proficiency in contract drafting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the lead negotiator for small to large contracts and assist in negotiations for more complex agreements.
  • Continuously work towards reducing and controlling annual expenditures across the organization.
  • Provide commercial, contractual, and negotiation support.
  • Manage contractual relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the contracting process.
  • Prepare and review contract schedules to maintain a timeline view of workload activities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong commercial contract and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in contract law and drafting.
  • Effective influencing abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Capability to work under tight deadlines.
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
