We are excited to present multiple Senior Buyer roles with a renowned global retail brand. Our client is a well-established brand with a presence in numerous international markets, currently experiencing significant growth.

They are seeking to expand their team by adding several Senior Buyers who will focus on various indirect categories.

The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive and enjoys taking initiative, demonstrating a strong team-oriented mindset.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all non-Goods for Resale (GNFR) contracts within the organization are cost-efficient, suitably adaptable for future needs, straightforward, and enforceable with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Experience in purchasing areas such as IT, Marketing, Travel, Facilities Management, or Logistics would be advantageous.

Proficiency in contract drafting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the lead negotiator for contracts of varying sizes, while also supporting negotiations for more complex agreements.
  • Continuously work towards reducing and managing annual expenditures across the organization.
  • Provide commercial, contractual, and negotiation expertise.
  • Oversee contractual relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the contracting process.
  • Prepare and review contract schedules to facilitate a timeline overview of workload activities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong commercial contract negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of contract law and experience in contract drafting.
  • Effective influencing skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines.
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
