Position Title: Transport Department Management Support Administrator

Location: Shared Services Partnership

Salary: Scale 4, £24,921 - £27,351 per annum

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Temporary

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated administrator to provide essential support to the Transport Management Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing a range of computerized records and indices for effective monitoring within the transport department, including documentation related to vehicle fuel management and associated paperwork.
  • Preparing necessary files and documents for the Management Team, ensuring timely and efficient handling of driver nominations and addressing any arising issues.
  • Serving as the primary contact for all inquiries related to Pool cars and coordinating their bookings for servicing.
  • Organizing maintenance for ACPO Vehicles, including the arrangement of loan vehicles as required.

Essential Qualifications:

Applicants should possess QCF Level qualifications in English and Mathematics or equivalent work experience. Proficiency in typing and word processing, along with a Microsoft Office qualification, is also required.

Essential Experience:

Candidates must have substantial administrative experience in an office setting, with a strong background in document preparation and layout. Proficiency in Excel and other Windows applications is essential.
