About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Department Administrator to provide essential support to our dedicated team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate computerized records and indices for monitoring within the transport department, including those associated with fuel cards, bridge passes, and vehicle-related expenses.
- Prepare files, documents, and gather background information required by the management team, such as notices of intended prosecution, parking tickets, and dart charges. Ensure drivers are promptly nominated for relevant actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all pool car inquiries and manage their bookings for servicing.
- Coordinate the servicing of ACPO vehicles, including arranging loan vehicles during maintenance periods.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrator in a fast-paced office environment.
- Exceptional typing and word processing skills with proficiency in document layout.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with Excel spreadsheets, Word, and other Windows systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
