About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Clinical Support Team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Clinical Leads and members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Consultant Psychiatrist and Modern Matron, including PA, medical secretarial, and administrative services.
  • Support the development and management of a comprehensive and efficient PA support service.
  • Organize meetings, collate reports, and minute meetings with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Utilize advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, to maintain accurate records and ensure seamless communication.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives, demonstrating a flexible and methodical approach to workload management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach in all interactions.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 4 or Higher Education Certificate/BTEC or equivalent experience.
  • High level of knowledge equivalent to Senior Secretarial Certificate/Diploma or equivalent practical experience.
  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development, particularly in organizational systems, staff supervision, and business administration.
  • Driving license with use of own car.
