We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of our client's premises.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
Employment Type: Flexible hours, primarily covering daytime and occasional nighttime shifts.
The ideal candidate will ideally reside in the surrounding areas and possess reliable transportation, as access to the site may be challenging via public transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Mobile Security Team, operating a designated vehicle to respond to various sites, investigate alarms, conduct patrols, and provide emergency security services as required.
- Foster a secure environment that allows our clients, their staff, and visitors to feel safe and supported.
- Build trust with every interaction through effective communication, sound decision-making, and adherence to professional security standards.
- Adhere to Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and client policies consistently.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, alarms, and events, escalating issues to the appropriate authorities as necessary.
- Ensure a positive experience for colleagues, clients, and the public during all security engagements.
- Maintain a consistent schedule to provide adequate security coverage as per client requirements.
- Utilize TRACKTIK for patrol documentation and incident reporting.
- Promote a culture of safety, emphasizing awareness of health and safety risks and the importance of reporting accidents or near misses.
- Safeguard the property of clients, employees, and visitors at all times.
- Prevent unauthorized access to the premises by individuals, vehicles, or objects.
- Act swiftly in response to unforeseen events or incidents, following established procedures outlined in the site Assignment Instructions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
- Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and effectiveness in the role.
- Conduct site visits to assess security standards, identify risks, and ensure compliance.
- Perform vehicle inspections to guarantee safety and maintenance standards are met.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the security sector (preferred).
- Valid UK driving license.
- SIA license – Security Guarding or Door Supervision.
- SIA license – CCTV (if applicable).
- Proficient in IT systems (user level).
- Level 3 First Aid certification (preferred).
