Security Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced site-based Shift Supervisor to oversee security operations and manage a team of security personnel at Securitas Security Services.
This challenging role requires a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the protection of our property and personnel, as well as developing and implementing security protocols and procedures to enhance safety and security.
Working Nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (42 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to enhance safety and security.
- Conduct regular training sessions for security personnel on safety protocols, emergency response, and customer service.
- Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Perform regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security risks.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other disturbances, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to security activities and incidents.
- Conduct welfare checks to ensure the well-being of personnel on site.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, clients, and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
- Current, valid SIA license.
- Full UK driving license (you will be using one of our patrol cars for site patrols).
- Access to your own vehicle or able to commute to the site within a maximum distance of 10 miles.
- Minimum of 3 years of security experience.
- Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management and ability to plan workload effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
