Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Referral Advisor to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Mind. As a key member of our NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to individuals accessing our services.

Main Responsibilities

As a Client Referral Advisor, your primary duties will include:

  • Providing a sensitive and professional service to the general public and health professionals, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Managing the client journey from point of referral to booked assessment, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Working closely with Duty Therapists to ensure appropriate escalation of risk-related issues and providing support to clients who may be distressed.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely recording of client information on relevant databases, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols.
  • Booking individuals into assessments with therapists, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Providing administrative support, including taking messages and ensuring they reach the appropriate team members.

Person Specification

We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • Admin qualifications or evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Experience of working in an administrative environment, preferably in a mental health setting.
