Job Overview

The Groups & Events Sales Planner serves as the embodiment of the "Art de recevoir," curating a uniquely tailored experience that reflects the finest traditions of French hospitality. As a vital team member, you will contribute to achieving the hotel's financial goals in Groups and Events sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the Groups & Events Sales strategy and ensure its effective execution.
  • Prepare detailed booking event orders (BEOs), floor layouts, menus, signage, and other essential documentation to clearly convey guest requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Guarantee timely completion of all BEOs, distributing them to relevant departments, and communicate any last-minute adjustments to enhance operational efficiency and standards.
  • Collaborate with the entire operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Comprehend client needs and generate innovative concepts for events.
  • Conduct supplier research and negotiate advantageous agreements as necessary; maintain communication with external vendors.
  • Oversee event activities on the day of execution and implement contingency plans when required.
  • Conduct post-event assessments and document insights for future reference.
  • Organize and facilitate hotel tours and client entertainment for both current and prospective accounts with identified potential.
  • Establish robust relationships with clients, actively pursuing repeat business and new connections within their organizations. Support the proactive team in rebooking all business.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant sales experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritize guest needs while maintaining composure and courtesy at all times.
  • Highly dependable and trustworthy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities.
