Job Overview
A leading legal staffing firm is seeking a skilled litigation support specialist to join its team. This role is essential in assisting attorneys and practice advisors in the preparation of intricate legal documents and conducting mid-level legal research within the Products & Mass Tort sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contributes to the firm's revenue by achieving billable hour targets and adhering to timekeeping protocols.
  • Actively seeks billable assignments by collaborating with various teams and offices.
  • Maintains an accurate daily time log and enters time records into the firm's accounting systems in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Adheres to ethical standards as outlined by the Rules of Professional Conduct applicable to the jurisdiction of work.
  • Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Rules; stays informed on updates and communicates changes to the team.
  • Researches relevant laws, judicial rulings, legal articles, and other resources pertinent to assigned cases and regulatory matters.
  • Prepares detailed reports to assist attorneys in formulating case strategies; aids in drafting legal documents and supports attorneys during trials and client meetings.
  • Organizes data from various reference materials and manages virtual workspaces, coordinating with clients on documentation.
  • Drafts correspondence, memoranda, and fundamental legal documents for both internal and external purposes.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Certification as a paralegal or relevant legal assistant certification is preferred.

Experience
A minimum of three years of experience in a paralegal role or related field is required; prior experience in coordinating paralegal tasks is advantageous.

Additional Skills
  • Intermediate understanding of Federal, State, and Local Rules.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and possesses basic technological and research capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, mentor others, and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Strong visual acuity for transcription and data entry tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, high stress tolerance, and effective workload prioritization.
