Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular visits to properties, providing support sessions tailored to the needs of service users.
  • Assist clients in navigating benefits and housing options, ensuring they are connected with local resources.
  • Oversee general housing management, maintaining properties to meet client standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors to facilitate the turnaround of vacant properties.
  • Provide emotional support and monitor the well-being of clients within the supported housing framework.
  • Document all support sessions, including building inspections and necessary appointments.

Work Schedule: This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, with shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM or 10 AM to 6 PM, including one late night per week. A total of 35 hours per week is expected, with a flexible approach to administrative tasks.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of £19.79 (Umbrella), plus travel reimbursement at 45 pence per mile.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting individuals with complex needs is essential.
  • Knowledge of social and supported housing processes is required.
  • Ability to assist clients in tenancy sustainment and financial management.
  • Enhanced DBS check (on update service) is mandatory.
  • Relevant training in housing or health and social care is preferred.
  • Understanding of housing legislation applicable to individuals with complex needs.
