Crime Victim Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Crime Victim Support Specialist to join our team in North Yorkshire.

As a Crime Victim Support Specialist, you will work directly with adults and children who have been impacted by crime, assessing their support needs and providing immediate and ongoing support and advocacy.

You will also provide information to victims about their rights as outlined in the Victim's Code of Practice and explain processes to act as a single point of contact throughout their journey in the criminal justice system.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with a focus on customer service and care, and have an understanding of crime and its impact on individuals and communities.

About the Role:

This role is based in Harrogate and will involve developing relationships with other organisations who support victims of crime.
