The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resettlement and Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing hostel-based services and coordinating support to rough sleepers with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and support services to individuals experiencing homelessness, including key working and case management
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to address the unique needs of each individual
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and effective outcomes
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress

Requirements

  • Relevant experience working with homeless populations or vulnerable individuals
  • Strong understanding of the causes of homelessness and effective pathways out of homelessness
  • Ability to work with clients who may display challenging behavior and have complex needs
  • Basic knowledge of relevant legislation, including welfare benefits and housing law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
