About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Victim Support as an Independent Victim Advisor in North Yorkshire.

As an IVA, you will work directly with adults and children who have been impacted by crime, assessing their support needs and providing immediate and ongoing support and advocacy.

You will also provide information to victims about their rights and explain processes, acting as a single point of contact throughout their journey in the criminal justice system.

We are looking for a self-starter with good organisational and time management skills, who is an excellent communicator and able to work across teams and with external agencies to achieve goals.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of crime and its impact on individuals and communities, and be comfortable working in a digital environment and using a range of IT equipment and programs.
