Red Bull UK is seeking a National Account Executive focused on the Booker Wholesale sector.

The National Account Executive (NAE) will collaborate with the National Account Manager (NAM) to achieve volume, profit, and net revenue objectives across the Booker Group. This role requires close cooperation with the Booker Retail NAE and various Red Bull departments, including field sales, supply chain, net revenue management, commercial finance, category management, and shopper marketing teams. The NAE will adhere to the strategic vision of the Company, particularly emphasizing the Wholesale Channel's key pillars. A significant focus will be on enhancing Red Bull's distribution within Symbols and Independent retail through effective management of Booker's wholesale network and fostering relationships with Booker's Tactical Trading team. Additionally, the NAE will strategize for Booker Catering, partnering with the On Trade team to elevate Red Bull's relevance and distribution in the On Trade market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Achieving growth targets aligned with business plans that reflect both Booker and Red Bull's priorities.
    Conducting post-evaluations of activities within accounts to apply learnings effectively.
  • Analyzing sales performance with complete ownership of performance reporting.
    Forecasting, driving growth, and monitoring account development to facilitate informed and timely business decisions.
    Ensuring precise forecasts of base and promotional volumes and point-of-sale materials, followed by evaluations of activities for future implementation.
  • Proactively managing customer contact strategies to eliminate barriers to progress.
    Scheduling timely meetings with key contacts to ensure the development of comprehensive business plans in collaboration with the National Account Manager.
  • Establishing and maintaining an internal contact strategy to meet overall account KPIs.
    Collaborating with field sales, supply chain, net revenue management, commercial finance, category management, and shopper marketing teams.
  • Becoming an expert in Category, Consumer, and Customer insights, covering both the customer and Red Bull.
    Making informed decisions based on insights, both independently sought and readily available. Engaging closely with internal Category contacts and confidently utilizing data and insights.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Red Bull, embodying brand values to enhance brand perception consistently.
  • Demonstrating a proven track record in account and customer management.
  • Having experience in negotiation and trading matters at a reasonable level.
  • Effectively handling, evaluating, and utilizing sales data and insights.
  • Exhibiting excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Providing evidence of supporting, executing, and delivering business plans and/or KPIs.
  • Being a self-starter with a results-oriented focus on the customer.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30%.
