Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled National Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the discounters and wholesale market. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth, increasing product range and distribution, and improving profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve budgeted growth targets in terms of gross sales value and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK discounter and wholesale channel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including discounters and fine food wholesalers.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide regular business updates and insights to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing and growing business in the UK discounter and wholesale market.
- Strong commercial acumen and business awareness.
- Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
