About the Role:

Blue Legal, a prominent national law firm recognized for its extensive legal expertise, is on the lookout for a skilled PR Manager to enhance their Cardiff office. In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in shaping the firm's public persona and executing strategic public relations initiatives aimed at bolstering the firm's standing in the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the firm's public relations and communications strategy by producing press releases tailored for specific media channels and the firm's online platforms.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for media exposure, including interviews, feature articles, and guest contributions.
  • Maintain an extensive network of media contacts and ensure the press database is consistently updated.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure that PR efforts align with the overall marketing and communication strategies.
  • Utilize media monitoring tools to assess and enhance the firm's online reputation and the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor movements to uncover and capitalize on PR opportunities.
  • Assist the Head of PR and Communication in creating internal and external communication materials and coordinating events.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a PR Manager role or a comparable position.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for crafting compelling content for a variety of audiences.
  • Proven capability to cultivate and sustain relationships across different business sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of both traditional and digital media platforms.
  • A Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.
