Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Health Sciences department at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert knowledge to a range of projects, ensuring compliance with chemical regulations and promoting safe product stewardship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise in chemical legislation, including EU and GB Chemical Regulations (e.g., REACH, Biocide)
  • Develop and implement authorisation strategies and regulatory advice for clients, including the development of testing programmes for industrial chemicals
  • Compile approval/authorisation dossiers according to regulatory requirements
  • Perform hazard, exposure, and risk assessments, as well as efficacy assessments, in your field of expertise
  • Coordinate the preparation of application dossiers for the chemical industry, working closely with subject matter experts
  • Communicate effectively with clients and competent authorities, ensuring timely and collaborative project delivery
  • Support project management and existing client relationships, providing industry expertise as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with current and future regulatory landscapes, providing insights and recommendations to the team
Requirements
  • Strong academic background in a relevant science-based field, with a minimum of a degree
  • Prior experience in product regulatory affairs and product stewardship, with a focus on chemical compliance
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory affairs, particularly European regulations governing product safety and stewardship
  • Experience with IUCLID 6 and human or environmental exposure models (e.g., Chesar, EUSES)
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Fluent in English, with other languages an asset
