About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Leader to join our Forensic Inpatient Service at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our senior nursing team, you will be responsible for the 24-hour operational management of the service and will provide clinical and managerial leadership to nurses.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide effective clinical leadership and role modeling, with good delegation and supervisory abilities.
  • Ensure that all organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to, and contribute to the development of local, trust, specialist, and National policies.
  • Ensure that clinical supervision is used to reflect upon and modify own and others' practice.
  • Ensure that own practice and that of junior staff remains within legal, ethical, and professional parameters and is open to scrutiny from peers.
  • Work towards attaining the European Computer Driving License qualification, (Module 2).
Requirements
  • Minimum of 18 months in Clinical Charge Nurse Role / Deputy role.
  • Professional registration.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
