Job Summary:
The Divisional Medical Director will have responsibility for the strategic planning and leadership of the division's clinical services and performance, working closely with the Divisional Director of Operations and the Divisional Director of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all staff are aligned with the Division's and Trust's objectives and are working in effective multidisciplinary teams.
- Implement a continuous quality improvement approach and ensure compliance with clinical audit standards to deliver high-quality care and performance standards.
- Lead the division as part of the Leadership Triumvirate, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Nursing Officer.
Requirements:
- Day-to-day line management responsibility for the Divisional Director of Operations and the Divisional Director of Nursing.
- Professional leadership of the Divisional Director of Operations and the Divisional Director of Nursing, including appraisals, performance management, and sickness leave.
