Ground Control is dedicated to supporting the UK's journey towards Carbon Neutrality by 2050 and is actively seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to become a vital part of our eMobility Infrastructure Team.

Our Electric Vehicle Infrastructure division is expanding, and we require a skilled site supervisor to oversee our national construction initiatives, focusing on site setup, initial groundwork, and health and safety management.

Who are we looking for?

We are in search of seasoned Site Supervisors and Project Managers with a background in managing groundwork construction sites. Experience in electric vehicle infrastructure is advantageous but not mandatory for this position.

In this role, you will:

Play a crucial role in delivering electric vehicle infrastructure projects for both commercial and residential clients. Issue necessary on-site permits prior to project initiation. Develop Construction Phase Plans (CPP) for client approval before the project commencement. Ensure that reports and documentation are accurately completed and submitted through internal systems. Authorize additional work as required. Oversee and ensure the quality of installations. Conduct regular site inspections to confirm compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

The ideal candidate

The successful applicant will be expected to travel across a designated region, playing a key role in facilitating the installation of eMobility Infrastructure, ensuring that all work meets client specifications, is completed on schedule, and remains within budget.

You will need to possess the following qualifications:

A valid clean EU/UK driving license. CSCS Card. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and mentor others. A strong commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. A proactive approach to health and safety, with a proven track record of addressing potential issues. The ability to work independently.
