Position: Field Service Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to become a vital part of our team at Nationwide Platforms. In this role, you will travel to various client locations, primarily within the designated service area, to perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our powered access equipment, ensuring the highest standards of service.

This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your engineering expertise in a dynamic environment while working with the UK’s leading powered access provider.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of a diverse range of powered access machinery both at the depot and on customer premises.
  • Perform routine servicing and upkeep of all equipment and products.
  • Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company protocols.
  • Foster collaboration among team members across various depots to enhance workshop efficiency.
  • Maintain the service vehicle with an adequate supply of spare parts at all times.
  • Ensure that service records are accurately maintained and updated in the relevant systems, along with daily work logs.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will possess a relevant general maintenance certification and demonstrable experience in the plant rental industry. Skills in plant machinery, diesel mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting are essential.

Strong interpersonal abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are crucial for success in this role.
