Senior Care Coordinator

Work Schedule: 36 hours weekly - 3 shifts of 12 hours (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM) - Alternate Weekends

Compensation: £13.00 per hour

As a Senior Care Coordinator at Runwood Homes, professionalism combined with empathy and compassion will be fundamental to your role. You will be responsible for planning and executing care that provides our residents with a genuine sense of security, dignity, and independence.

You will build relationships with our residents and their families, ensuring that truly personalized care is provided.

Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will positively influence the team and uphold the highest standards of care. A key aspect of your role will involve maintaining precise records and fostering effective communication with your colleagues.

Your responsibilities as a Senior Care Coordinator will also include supporting the Home Manager and Deputy Manager. You will participate in delivering essential physical and mental care as part of Runwood's holistic approach to wellbeing, along with administering medication and conducting medication audits.

Ideally, you will possess an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, experience in person-centered care planning, and knowledge of caring for individuals with dementia. Leadership experience in delivering care is also desirable. What is essential is a vibrant, positive demeanor and a natural ability to connect with others. You will understand the importance of meticulous record-keeping and be adept at managing your time efficiently. Furthermore, in all your communications, whether with a resident or a colleague, you will demonstrate genuine consideration and kindness.

Experience / Qualification:

Experience is preferred but not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is preferred or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
