Job Summary:

Hales Home Care is seeking an experienced and skilled Care Team Manager to join our team in Doncaster. As a key member of our Community Care Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the quality of care services in your designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the allocation of care staff to service users, ensuring that their needs are met and that care services are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Manage and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality care services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that care services are tailored to their individual requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Ensure that all care staff are trained and equipped to deliver care services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of service user information, care plans, and staff training and development.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure that care services are integrated with other services and that service users receive a seamless and comprehensive service.
  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of care services.
  • Manage and control budgets and resources to ensure that care services are delivered within budget and that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Ensure that all care staff are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, data protection, and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a care management or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with service users, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
