We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Community Care Team Manager in our Doncaster branch. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the coordination and quality of your area, with direct line management of your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referral Management: Take new service user referrals from social workers and private service users, ensuring timely and effective allocation of care assistants.
  • Team Management: Plan and allocate care assistants to service users, manage their workload, and adhere to Hales Group policies and principles, as well as relevant legislation.
  • Communication and Support: Liaise with and provide support to senior care assistants or care assistants and supervisors working within your allocated area.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of service users and care assistants, including holiday and sickness requests.
  • Payroll and Administration: Process amendments on timesheets and payroll reports on a weekly basis.
  • Recruitment and Training: Refer potential care assistants prior to employment, ensuring they meet company standards, and work with the branch recruiter and trainer to ensure sufficient numbers of care staff are recruited and trained.
  • On-Call Rota: Participate in an on-call rota over weekends, ensuring continuity of care services.
